Win the tournament or go home. It’s as simple as that.

If he keeps coaching like yesterday, we may not make the tournament.

At least Coach Insanity admitted game one yesterday was the worst game of the year. Of course he didn't mention that most of it was his fault.
Re: Baseball. Tech Baseball Weekend Schedule Change
With our 3rd consecutive baseball loss our RPI has plummeted to 81 (a loss today would push us close to 100). We're now 2 full games out of first place in CUSA and we still have our road series @ USM coming up.

Now that Charlotte has won the series, why did you skip the two road series with Marshal and WKU and jump to USM?
Re: Baseball. Tech Baseball Weekend Schedule Change
Touche. Anything can happen in those series too. I guess it was the memory of USM coming to Ruston last year and beating us like we weren't even on the field and watching our starting pitchers get hammered before we FINALLY went to the bullpen. This Charlotte series in Ruston is looking like a replay of that.
Re: April 13-15 Promotions
I hear ya. It ain’t a given the way we looked yesterday.

good thing we had a huge lead in the 9th.
Re: Baseball. Tech Baseball Weekend Schedule Change
Our pitching has to find its early season form! Of course offenses are heating up this time of year but yielding 21 runs in three games ain’t gonna get it done.
Even today we giave up 4 runs in top of 9th. When our ERA was 2 - scoring 5 runs per game was good but not good when we’re starting to give up 6-7 runs per game. The top 25 cursed us maybe now that we have fallen out we’ll go on a winning streak !
Re: April 13-15 Promotions
Did I hear right that Burroughs didn’t coach 3rd on Sunday? Dare I ask how we were on the bases? Chances are that with all the hits Tech had there wasn’t a need to press things on the bases, just sit tight and get advanced hit by hit.
Glad the Dawgs bounced back today. They’ve got a huge 2 weeks of road games coming up so hopefully a taste of winning and some revamped confidence will pay off
Re: Baseball. Tech Baseball Weekend Schedule Change
We are not consistent enough on offense to be considered a top 25 team. We have way too many of our "top hitters" who look at good pitches on strike 3. We have a coach who tries to make things happen instead of just letting them play. Thank goodness he didn't have to tinker with them today like he did in both games yesterday. He also has a very long leash on pitchers and it has hurt us going back to last year. His style I guess, but no winning coaches do that.

He didn't coach 3rd in game 2 yesterday. Dave didn't ask why, but it really doesn't matter. He is still giving signals from the dugout. Maybe he thought they were picking up his signals from third.
