this HD D80 argument is the worst. You guys are seriously arguing over how much you think the other guy cares about the LSU game. No one is right at this point lol

Well, one thing is for certain, Dawg80's not right because the LSU game is important. Anyone that doesn't think so needs to be cheering for NLU/ULM. :)

Go back and look at the first posts. I don't give a rat's azz about LSU or the LSU game. So, don't lump me in with those who proclaim that game as our Super Bowl. HD, and a couple of other morons, actually think that beating LSU (yes, that would be fun!) is more important than Tech winning an Access Bowl, like UCF did this year. No! Not just no but HELL NO!!! (well, beating LSU AND winning an Access Bowl would be the best scenario, but that wasn't a choice in this "what if").
LSU is like any other good (upper half) SEC program. Beating the tiggers is like beating a Tenn, UF, aTm... it would be a quality road win....but not our Super Bowl.

You have penis envy for LSU. Glad I don't have what you have.
We are LOUISIANA TECH!
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Heads to Miami to Battle FIU
Don't know if anybody watched the end of Tenn vs UK, but it was a similar situation in that game.... EXCEPT.... Tennessee fouled UK when they got it across mid-court, got the rebound, and won the game. Good thing for them that Barnes knows how to coach at the end of games.

Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Heads to Miami to Battle FIU
Same situation happened this afternoon in our WBB game. Brooke went with the Konkol strategy of not fouling. Thankfully UTEP missed the game-tying 3-pointer.

Haha! Just an observation. I thought I was having deja vu until UTEP missed the 3 at the buzzer.

The difference is that Brooke had the Techsters guarding that player like crazy. In the Techster game, that shot wasn't close because our defense was all over her. It would have tied it (if she had made it) as the ball barely made it to the backboard as the buzzer sounded.

If the MBB players had guarded better 2.5 seconds longs worst scenario is tie game and OT.
But we get tie game, turnover, and time for one shot.
