Top State of Louisiana 2017 Commits

Yep we have 2 out of the 3 top players in Louisiana for the class of 2017 and was very close to getting all 3 before Galen Alexander committed to LSU...Ties are now WKU asssitants Quannas White and Shammod WIlliams were both assistants at Tulane prior and both were heavily involved before with AAU in Louisana, Stans seals the deal with these guys of course at the end.....Shammond is Godfather to Mitchell which helps obviously...After a top 10 player nationally commits you are seeing trickle down effect from there of players who want to play along side a player like that...I don't think Stans is done either...
The post above is from a WKU fan on the CUSA board. Just curious if his statement above is fact or fiction. (As you may know, there's a lot of fiction over there. LOL! ) Anyway, I figured some of you mens BB guys would know, because you probably keep up with this stuff. I know Rick Stansberry is the coach there now and he is a very good recruiter. But if WKU is getting some of these TOP Louisiana recruits, why aren't we?
Re: Top State of Louisiana 2017 Commits
I didn't know the connection with Shammond Williams. I knew he played at North Carolina and in the NBA. He was on the staff at Tulane for the past three years. Quannas White played at St. Aug before going to Oklahoma, where he played with another Louisiana standout in Hollis Price. White was an assistant at Tulane after spending time running the Louisiana Dynasty AAU program out of New Orleans. He does have deep recruiting ties to the state. They're obviously doing something right (or perhaps something wrong) with the players they're pulling into Bowling Green.
Also, I've never seen Mitchell Robinson play. I know he's a 7-footer (or maybe 6-10) who is considered perhaps the top big man in the country. Supposedly, he can PLAY! I do know that Josh Anderson from Madison Prep can really, really play. He's one of the top four wings in the state this year, along with Galen Alexander of Lafayette Christian (LSU commit), Brandon Rachal of Natchitoches Central (LSU, Texas, A&M and many more offers), and Cedric Russell of Peabody (former LSU commitment who lists us in his top 9).

Because we don't recruit Louisiana! Where have you been HD? We recruit Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Texas & some other states on the East Coast.

Scratch Florida and add Maryland.

Multiple coaches telling me recently that they are bowing out of recruitments when Rick Stansbury gets involved.
5* out of Chalmette had originally committed to A&M where Stansbury was before being hired by WKU

So basically this thread is telling me that Directional Kentucky has arguably the best football and basketball coaches in CUSA?

Can't argue with results.

Five-star recruit Mitchell Robinson is no longer on #WKU's campus. He left as soon as yesterday, a source told the Herald.

Western Kentucky freshman Mitchell Robinson has left campus, source told ESPN. Will be interesting to see if he is persuaded to return.

This is the same dude who signed his NLI and then two weeks later announced that he was decommitting from WKU. I really didn't think he'd ever suit up for the Hilltoppers.

Western Kentucky assistant coach Shammond Williams, who is the Robinson's godfather, resigned from his position this summer.
