RUSTON – Head Coach Sonny Cumbie has been synonymous with explosive offenses dating back to his days as the signal caller at Texas Tech. Bulldog fans have seen many high-octane offenses themselves throughout the years and should expect no different in 2022.

Quarterback battle? You mean the coach just doesn't anoint someone a "rock star" and stick with him through thin and thin? Interesting, new approach.
Also, I do not see any mediocre FCS QB's trying to be great by moving up to the FBS. I just hope our offensive line can protect our Power 5 level QB's. We had a coach here once who went with the Power 5 QB plan, but he forgot that a football team needs a good offensive line, as well. Again new ideas, but I like them.
Who says change is bad? I like what Sonny is trying.
And please to all the Skip and J'Mar fans out there, I apologize in advance. I saw what they did at the semi-pro level. They were fantastic. They are the best duo since Batman and Robin.
GO DAWGS!!!

Hey if we cannot handle one little mermaid how are we going to beat the Missouri Tigers? Much less the Clemson Tigers. I say crush the mermaids.

The best part of the article was that we’ve got a good bloodline son in Tru Edwards on the team. I loved watching his dad. When everything else wasn’t going exactly right he seemed to be able to will himself to success.

So, Sean Fox is not impressed with QB development. Apparently, they put the ball up for grabs a lot. Anyone else have same impression?

50-50 ball…my receivers are more athletic than your db’s. It’s a common throw.

I’m okay with that. The impression I got from Sean on the show was they were just dangerous throws, not 50/50

Ehh it depends on how dangerous, IMO you have to throw dangerously sometimes to have those big moments when you win games you aren't supposed to. (This fits for most things in life. If you always take the safe route, you never get the chance to learn and grow.)

What Sean said on his show yesterday was that he's heard we are struggling at the QB position in camp.
The subject was discussed because Myles Brennan has decided to end his college career at LSU. The question came up as to whether Brennan had really hung it up or perhaps he might be willing to play for another school under the right circumstances.

If QB can connect with most of their throws, we would be concern about our secondary.
If QB cannot connect, we would be concern with the QB or WR.

You wouldn’t be insinuating that Tech fans will fret either way, would you?
