More great promotion by our AD. Buy 500 Tee Shirts to give away for the lame "White Out Game", but wait until the day before the game to announce the promo in hopes of not running out of Tee Shirts. No ticket discounts announced. Brilliant!

They released white out promotions on social media like three days ago.

Social media = Twitter which is a horrible communication toward the target market.
Even if it was a good method, the timing is horrible. Three days out to get the target market engaged? Should have started two weeks ago.
You really have a crush on our AD don't you?

I first heard about the promotion at last week's Rice game. Not sure if that's when they officially announced it for the first time.

Well it certainly wasnt the "day before the game" when it was announced like you said. They show these adds on the televisions on campus as well, so the students definitely see them. And social media is Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. On Facebook it was posted Tuesday afternoon, which is plenty time for a Saturday game. They even showed an ad for and announced it at the last Dawgs game, since it was the next game. From what I can tell, a game isnt usually pushed in advertisement 2 weeks in advance unless it is the next home game(s). The TAC screen usually cycles through graphics that advertise the next, or two next, home games for each team during a game. We've been getting ODU/WKU ads almost all month because the Techsters have played away 4 straight games, we had been getting UNT/Rice ads for the men up until last week.
You let your apparent hate for the AD get to you far too often and it is painfully obvious. You take a simple, positive promotion like a white out game and bitterly complain about if for no good reason. Its a color coordinated game, and its a free shirt. If anything, 500 isnt enough. Should be 1000 shirts. ~120 for band and spirit squads, and split the rest between the two entrances. White out is by far the best color promotion to use in the TAC anyway, it stands out against both the blue and red seats.

No hate here. More like disgust. He is getting paid very well for things he does not do well like scheduling and promotion. I'll continue to point out the things he does not do along with the things he does well.

Any online viewing opportunities for the game?
BTW, the post icon below for USM is the old "Iowa" logo we had to change for legal reasons. I like it better, but it's not current.

I found out Thursday night that, apparently, it’s legends night. Randy White, Byron Newton, and several others will be here. By the time I knew about it, I already had made plans to do some other things this afternoon out of town. Oh well........

CUSA-TV but it cost something ($6.95?). The only time I tried it there was no audio and most of the video was the UTEP Miner logo spinning, which made me dizzy.
Re: M. Basketball. Bulldogs Host Travel Partner Golden Eagles in White Out Game
Our CUSA Tv is much better. The product is dependent on the home school. Our product was better than what I watched from an SEC $ school. If you can't be there it is a good option , at least for our home games .

Yes, when it is at Tech, it is excellent! Been watching every game that I can't make. Other CUSA schools are lagging behind, but it is worth it when the game is at Tech.
Re: M. Basketball. Bulldogs Host Travel Partner Golden Eagles in White Out Game
Ha, it probably looks like that to opposing fans. Big bird or such. Congrats to y’all on the 2-for-1 you recently announced. Go get ‘em!
Re: M. Basketball. Bulldogs Host Travel Partner Golden Eagles in White Out Game
Like I said before. Need MORE shirts at these games. Not 500. Theres people showing up not getting a shirt, the sponser needs to double their number. By the looks of it they arent even giving the band a shirt.
