Omar Sherman Update
Seems like he should be out of eligibility by now, but he's not.

Our next transfer we are going to spotlight is the big fella, Omar Sherman, from Louisiana Tech! Omar is a 6’9, 255 lbs senior who originally went to Miami out of high school. Omar is dominant down low but also has the ability to step out and hit the 3.

WBB is more of a game if you can stand the missed layups.

Re: Omar Sherman Update
Some here thought I was crazy when I said Omar was going to William Penn couple months ago. And that Harris wouldnt get cut from Nevada. And that Konkol sacrificed J-Wash at the end of the year to keep Pemberton. DFW hoops...small world.
Shrewd move by Konkol on Washington, but he couldnt afford to lose another DFW kid to xfer.
Sherman and Harris were recruited to play a certain style and position. Konkol didnt make good on those promises. They left for places that would allow them to play those styles. William Penn will be a favorite to win NAIA title with the 2 DFW kids on roster who went SEC/ACC out of high school.

Spin doctor it all you want, but Omar made a mistake transferring.

Re: Omar Sherman Update
No spin...back in May I said his xfer was a double bogey. I personally wish he would have stayed at Miami.
Above I was talking about WHY he left. Not whether it was a good decision or not. Only he can determine if it was a good decision or not.
Elena Delle Donne left UCONN to play at Delaware because she was unhappy. Other than her, who can say whether it was a mistake or not?
