Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
After reffing a LHSAA semi final game last night and watching this game today, I am tired. See ya in Frisco.
Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
GREAT PERFORMANCE by our Bulldogs to defeat UNT today, 42-36!!
This is the first time LA Tech has made an appearance in the CUSA Tournament Final since 2014.
CONGRATS COACH Konkol and the Bulldogs!!

O/U was 122.5 :laugh::laugh:
Survive and advance baby!
Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
FYI, HogDawg's PLAYER OF THE GAME in this one was Cobe Williams, who had 12 points, 3 rebounds, only 3 turnovers (as our point guard) and played fantastic defense against UNT's best player. This guy was ON today! He also made some key free throws in the last minute of play. Cobe Williams was huge today.
Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
I think they said this was the lowest scoring game in college this season. Gritty win.
That Perry kid scares me every time he shoots. I think it goes back to watching him sink the winner in Ruston and costing me $20. Glad to see them lose.

It was nice to get 12 Rebounds (10 Def) and 9 points out of Lofton. Williams, Willis and Lofton were 78% or our scoring.

He barked at the officials and his teammates too much
Superstars are supposed to elevate their game and carry their team in moments like today
He gets another shot tomorrow

If I’d known that I wouldve been tempted to take that as my first sports bet… Our meetings with UNT are not high scoring. I think last year in the tournament both were in the 40s?

Cobe blocked one of Perry's 3's! (surprised a foul wasn't called). Cobe was awesome on defense and also took care of the ball.
Now, tomorrow our two seniors Arch and Christon need to step up and have huge games. They don't have to be POG, just deliver and be a part of winning the game. You two stand on the cusp of dancing and this is your last shot at it.
Go Dawgs!
Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
Congratulations on the win today. Despite the fact that your team already played two tourney games, your guys got the job done. We couldn't do jack.

Thanks DG. You guys play tough D as always, but we did better on Perry than usual. Other than that, I don't think I've seen that many shots rim in and out in one game. We both shot terribly, and I'd like to think it was because we both played great D, but neither team shot worth anything today.
Best of luck in the NIT.

Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
Defense and guard play wins championships in basketball -
We will find out tomorrow if we are good enough
I wonder if Woolridge was there - that was his type of ballgame (those were some tough games to set through)
Re: Semifinals vs. Mean Green
Last time Tech won scoring 42 or less was 1/20/83 in the TAC against Arkansas State 42-39.
