Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Inductees
The 2020 class includes former Techster Angela Turner, former Tech QB Phil Robertson (Duck Commander), and another former LSU coach, Nick Saban. Former Saints WR Joe Horn (Mr. Cell Phone) leads an otherwise blah class of inductees.
I enjoyed visiting with Dave Nitz, Matt Dunigan, and even Les Miles at this year's gala reception. I'll go again. I'm sure Nick Saban, if he comes, will "fly" through with a quick appearance.

I don't have anything against Mr Robertson on a personal level, but he played sports for one year...he may be famous for other reasons but not for sports? Am I missing something?

He's being inducted as an outdoorsman because of his contributions in that field.

Ok that makes sense, I suppose.
Re: Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Inductees
He invented, and his family's company sells, perhaps the most popular duck caller for those outdoorsmen . . . I suppose.

Actually he played for three years. He backed up Laird in 1965 and started in 1966 and split time with TB in 1967. Of course see the Duck Commander comments.
