Mr Antee is and has always been a Tech hater, he's a another school's bandwagon fan, though I did see his former boss and sidekick at our NWLATAG pregame tent at the MSU game..I don't know how much input we have into "crew assigning", but he has been and will continue to be(likely) a detriment to our school ANYTIME he can...he has been involved in numerous "shenanigans" before to "knife' Tech...his bias is out there and known...the man seems like a guy on a personal mission for sabotage at every turn..."Hate" is a very strong word, but at the end of the day, generally always ends up hurting the "hater" more than the "hatee" down the road...one fine day it will backfire...it is quite petty...
The only people accountable are the referees. UAB committed at least 2 very obvious infractions on that single play and the refs CHOSE to ignore them. How anyone can blame Holtz for that makes no sense. Claiming he didn't question the referees about them not enforcing the rules is an assumption. Finally, though our team played poorly, they were in a position to actually win the game. The players failed to execute.
Is that you Skip? You said it, we played poorly. We lose a couple of games a year we should win because we are not prepared and "play poorly". That is the head coaches fault.Skip is a very poor game manager. Fans like you are why Tech will continue to be mediocre.
You two are killing me
Ken Antee is on the C-USA list of officials. Officiating crews are assigned by the conference office. No AD has ANY control over what crews are assigned to games.
And based on what I've seen lately, I'll take Antee any day over that bozo in the white hat who called the Tech-UAB game.
That actually says a lot about what we lack these days. Someone in the admin needs to understand the importance of fighting for us in every area concerning the university. Instead, we are content to allow UAB to do whatever they want with no risk of punishment or backlash. We are okay with things staying as they are on campus because we take pride in being the cheapest option on the block. We need people who all love Tech more than they love their job or reputation.
