It was super tough not having the board available during the game. I pray that we won't have that kind of problem next game. Thanks to the guys that fixed it.
I am still getting some times of EXTREMELY slow response time. It is not for every time, but too many times for me to think the issue has been fixed.
I have had off and on problems with this board ever since the software "upgrade" last year. It wasn't just during the game for me yesterday...I was having frequent problems Friday.

There has definitely been something wrong with the site for some time. Way to long for a page to load. It is not my computer because this is the only site where I have a problem.
Works great on my phone and my laptop. That's firefox and safari for iphone.

Sorry about yesterday - I was in Houston, EJ was in Houston, Maddawg was in Houston...
MJRod looked at it last night when it was brought to our attention - we are bombared daily by 1000's of bots trying to bring down the site and it is a continuous challenge to keep the site clean...

Glad to learn it's not just me. Been having this trouble for quite some time. Have often just had to log out and log in again to be able to access some of the threads.
It was only during the game, during high traffic times i noticed. few hours after the game and it worked fine

I have a lot of problems with the site on my phone. Sometimes I get the error others have shown and sometimes it just takes forever to load. Most of the time, it works fine on the PC.

Still happens almost every day for me...happened again twice in a couple of minutes just before posting this with less than 40 users on the site.
Any update on this issue?
What browser/operating system are you guys running? I'm using AOL (IE8)/Windows 7 and haven't had any problem in years. Clean some of the trash off your computers. There's nothing wrong with the site.

You're still making fun of my AOL and I am not having any problems. And to answer the other question, no I do not pay anything for AOL and haven't for years. And I reiterate I have not had any problems with the BBB site, so it's your browser or computer or maybe even your internet service. As I said I have more problems with FireFox than IE8/AOL. I have not tried Google Chrome. I may be older than most of you guys but I am an engineer and not totally ignorant of computers etc. having had to use them all of my career of almost fifty years. I know that FireFox is supposed to more secure but I do have that redirect virus on it and not on AOL so I assume it's somewhere in there.Quote:
