Re: Hudspeth out in LaLa Land
Holtz and the other coaches at Tech do a hell of a lot more with a hell of a lot less than virtually anyone else.

I think most BBB projected this would be developing year - I am disappointed but ....
My only issue with the developing QB issue is that when J'Mar was obviously struggling, he was just left out there to struggle some more. At first I thought Holtz didn't think he was struggling, but in a couple of post game quotes he pretty much indicated he thought our passing game was not what it should be.
Even if it was for a couple of series, I would have liked to see if we could have gotten a bit better if J'mar watched from the sideline for a while (not that the other QB was better, just needing a spark). I am still hopeful that this was not what we will see next year from that position.

Yup. I’ve been preaching this all season.

Let’s see, we got you saying Holtz does more with less, and someone else bragging about all the NFL talent being produced.
So is Holtz not doing a good job recruiting, or is he losing games he should be winning because he’s not a good game day coach?

Please, stop saying that kind of stuff. We're all tired of hearing how "little ole Louisiana Tech" can't compete. I swear, some of you people sit around dreaming up reasons we can suck.
Last time I looked, we played with 11 players just like everybody else.

Lol. Holtz was just given more than $40 million in facility improvements, 7 home games, and a significant raise.

I agree.
Did the two guys in that garage in California say to each other, no, let's forget it, no way can we compete with the big boys, IBM, Hewlett-Packard.....

I thought the two guys in the garage in California were Hewlett-Packard. COMPAQ was famously drawn up on a restaurant napkin. Maybe you're talking about APPLE. But I get your point.
