This Honeysucker guy doesn't like us too much and he probably made terrible grades in history unless revisionism was his major.

Tech’s trademark narcissism
You know, I was digging it especially when it came to the Michael Scott "Bankruptcy" joke but then when the indy bowl lies came up I just closed the page.
Wow, he put a lot of lipstick on that ulm-pig.
He neglected to mention that even though ULM had its run of success in the 80's, Tech was leading the series 30-13 when it was mercifully discontinued after 2000. Had it been played on a regular basis the past 16 years the series record would likely be something like 44-15.
He is right about one thing. It is NOT a rivalry. It's way too one-sided to be a rivalry.
This sounds like some soporific, sophomoric swill that was maybe recycled and updated from the NLU student newspaper the Pow Wow. Was this actually in the print newspaper?
The kids comes from a great family - he went to UL-M and writes for TNS - of course he is going to be UL-M biased.
Back to the series - it should never be played again - UL-M brought NO fans to Ruston - none, nada, nothing. We brought 10,000 plus to the games at their place. It was a miserable, miserable series. I would rather play South Caroline State again then UL-M.
Sign me up for some more UL-L before UL-M. At least UL-L brings some fans to Ruston....and at least it is an easy drive with some decent pre game dining option in Lafayette. Hell, I would take a series with Arkansas State before UL-M. At least UL-L and ASU care about their programs.
Meh...
Give them the same deal as SCSt...
