Which of these happens first for Louisiana Tech Athletics?
Do the big money folks get tired of mediocrity and shut off the donations until excellence truly becomes the goal?
Or.....
Does our admin wake up and realize that the $300/yr LTAC, 2 ticket holding, younger alum is worth going after?
Essentially, who wakes up first?

Insomuch as I have zero confidence in the admin, I have to lean to the former over the latter.

The big money is only going to die out. They wont just leave because they like being catered to and know that they wouldn't get the treatment they get from a larger school. Being a Bowl team every year is just enough excellence for most as long as they get to play golf with the coach or celebrity alums. The lifeblood of P5 schools are the $300 a year Boosters with season tickets, but we are so asinine in our thought process that we fail to realize how it works.

That's not how it is done in the Southland Conference, which is where our AD has us parked...in terms of how the department operates.

I can tell you from experience that Universities in the state of Louisiana not named LSU do not have the population, tax revenue or general interest to take anyone for granted. It's a simple case of economics that this school along with many others have failed to take into account.
