RUSTON – Louisiana Tech baseball is wrapping up the fall practice, which means the start of the Fall World Series that begins on Tuesday.
The squad will split up into a “Blue” team and a “Gray” team. First year head coach Wade Simoneaux and his staff will split up the seniors equally and then the seniors will draft the remaining players.
The seniors will manage the teams during the seven game series. The draft will be conducted on Sunday to split the team up.
This is the first year that Tech has conducted a “Fall World Series” at the end of the fall practice period. It provides an excellent opportunity for the coaches to evaluate the team in a competitive situation.

This isnt the first time they had a world series. We had these series since the 1998 fall season, but oh well. Good luck to them.
