Jalen Harris has asked for and has been granted his release from the team. Jean is out and Boykins is banged up but starting.
Next man up.
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Opens New Orleans Shootout versus Alabama State
How many warmup games does this team need?
There are FIVE SWAC teams with no wins (and double digits losses). The 5th place team (PVAM) is 2-10.
Tech leads 12-7...

The other option requires losing to Alabama State. Fort Wayne or bust.

Harris went to Konkol's office and said he had an opportunity elsewhere. He is gone.
Frankly his play has been sub-par for several weeks, but I wouldn't have guessed him when a roster change was hinted at before the game broadcast started.

Very disappointing. At times he looks like the best player on the court, but other times it just seems that his head isn't in the game.

These types of situations really make guys like Jean standout. He could have easily looked elsewhere after getting moved to a different role, but continues to thrive from his 6th man spot. I’ll withhold my thoughts on Harris, but have felt he was the main cause of a chemistry issue for quite some time.

Whoa?! Jalen Harris left the program? That’s huge news. How is this so quiet? In the middle of the year, one of our returning stars leaves, and it’s a blip on the radar in the Alabama State thread?!
