Heart of Dallas Questions
Will our ticket for the game get us into the state fair, or is that separate? Also, usually stay in Arlington or Las Colinas when in the area? Are there safe areas closer to the game that I can book for my family (wife and 2 kids) or do I need to book as usual? Planning on catching the Rangers season finale the next day. Trying to get my plans in order now for that weekend. Thanks.
Re: Heart of Dallas Questions
Our tickets will get you in the game. There are all kind of hotels up and down 75 and 35 that are good and will take you no time to drive to the game. Ther eis a very nice high rise hotel close to the intersection of Northwest Hwy and 75...can't think of the name. I think the "team" hotels and for that matter most of the downtown hotels are already booked solid. I could only get one night at a hotel about a month ago. Couldn't even get a Friday night stay.

A ticket to the game will get you into the state fair according to the heart of dallas web site. Also, the alumni association has blocks of rooms reserved at a couple of downtown Dallas hotels with convenient access to a DART rail station that you can ride to the fairgounds/game.
My family is going to the Rangers game on the 29th, also.

Re: Heart of Dallas Questions
Let's hope that the game on the 29th is meaningful for the Rangers.

Hope so. No moves today. Will Cruz be there? Lots of unanswered questions about the Rangers. Getting excited for football season though!

He should be there. He's going to appeal it and will likely miss the first 50 games next year.
Re: Heart of Dallas Questions
Fans: don't get hung up about staying 5-10 minutes to the Fair Grounds. Heck, there are TONS of good hotels within 15-20 minutes of the stadium! Find a good place near a DART line..........that is all that matters... it will take you straight to the Fair Grounds with little hassle, except for the crowd on the train. Even if you cannot find a hotel near a DART line, just get a DART schedule and find the nearest DART station...problem solved!

This week's EllAye Angels series will be hard to beat. Three "walk offs" in a row. Amazing!

See, I always called it Lah Angels. Silly me.
Re: Heart of Dallas Questions
May have been discussed elsewhere, but does anyone know if our younger kids, 4 and under, need a ticket.

Do you mean into the game?

Yes, not enough hours in the day to remember to call the ticket office.
Re: Heart of Dallas Questions
As far as I know tickets have to be had by all.
