Bracey, Jean Pace Bulldogs in 82-68 Victory
Wasn't there a game last night, against the mighty Prairie View?
Re: 12/1: MBB vs Houston Baptist
82-68 win....had to look it up on NCAA Scores (ESPN).
Guess this shows no one gives a chit about MBB....actually, no one seems to give a chit about any sport at Tech....myself included. So, I am not casting dispersions* on others, as I am guilty too.
* that the correct term?

We finally pulled away late.

Yep. Got down 4-13 early, then up by 18 early second half before Prairie View cut that to only three. Jean was awesome, love watching him play.

I knew that didn't look right. "Dispersions" is actually a science term.

RUSTON – On Dec. 4, 1982, Bulldog legend Karl Malone played in the first ever game inside the Thomas Assembly Center.
Thirty-six years later to the day, the Louisiana Tech men's basketball team was able to get a victory in the TAC on Karl Malone Court, besting Prairie View A&M by a final score of 82-68.
Re: 12/1: MBB vs Houston Baptist
Really missing Criston right now
Jean is the glue that seems to settle this team down
Duruji has been disappointing the last few games
O P is still learning but had problems with turnovers last night it sounded like
Bracey had 22 points but would go MIA for minutes at a time
Re: Bracey, Jean Pace Bulldogs in 82-68 Victory
I agree with 80. It is depressing to see how little interest there seems to be in Tech athletics these days.

Who cares about Prairie View A&M?
Did anyone take advantage of the 40% off sale for Black Friday week? Good for any game in December. If they'd been 90% off, maybe it would have been worth it.

Been going down hill for three years. Who has been in charge of athletics for the past three years?
Give him a raise?
Re: Bracey, Jean Pace Bulldogs in 82-68 Victory
Tech only scheduled 3 non-conference games of any interest: LSU, Wichita State, and ULL... all on the road. Nobody cares anything about watching Tech play the other 10 non-conference opponents. And then we lost to a couple obscure schools in a "tournament" in Delaware. The interest created by the Wichita State win quickly evaporated.

I like them playing Stephen F. Austin. They have been really good recently. I hope we keep scheduling them. They might be down this year compared to years past but their a decent opponent usually.

OK. I'll give you SFA (also on the road). They don't move the needle for me, but when you compare them to Tougaloo, Harding, and the SWAC du jour, they're alright. I just don't think we should be playing road games in Southland gyms. SFA should be a guarantee game in Ruston.

Agreed.
Although, our southland a.d. probably feels quite "at home" with road games in Southland gyms.............................................. ...
