Hey if that is our best strategy for getting in a better conference let's go for it!

It says “This is, was, and will always be Bulldog Country. Stop wearing purple and yellow if you’re a Tech alum.”

Appears to me to say, "LET'S GO BRANDON."

From a practical standpoint if we're going to have a lawyer glut I'd prefer we get more trained in North Louisiana.

Weren't we talking about doing something creative with Louisiana College (now, Louisiana Christian University) a few years back? They were considering adding a law school if I remember correctly.
I always wished we could get a Vet school up here...seems like it would be a really good fit for our University profile well, with our Animal Sciences and Tech Farm Equestrian facilities

LC is a mess. Avoid at all costs. Their law school didn’t materialize. They bought (or were gifted) a big building in downtown Shreveport, but they were needing to spend a ton to renovate. They building has been vacant for a long time. To my knowledge, the renovation never got started.
There are more lawyers than law jobs. Medicine or some allied health professional degrees could be a money maker, but LSU has a death grip on that.
Optometry is what I would go after. Not many schools nationwide. They don’t make MD money, but they are well compensated and always needed.
It’s a niche the other schools don’t seem interested in. Would be pricey to start. Need a few real deep pockets to get it started.

Thanks, I don't really keep up with them...I know, I'm a bad Baptist.

That building will soon be renovated to host state offices (moving away from the old building on Fairfield). Process of revamping new home for state offices in downtown Shreveport progresses (msn.com)

This will be replacing (consolidating) state offices already in use. The current building on Fairfield was dilapidated 20 years ago.
There have been many private entities purchasing and remodeling properties in the last 20 years or so.
Re: Lambright's Secret Coded Message
Back to the Tech Illuminati Communications/Marketing Department chore of promoting the "Code."
It started out as a secret.
It's still a secret except for the Prez, a lifeguard and the architect. Now we gotta give the marketing department time to come up with its news release. Heck it's been only 10 years.
Maybe a Freedom of Information request will work. Or at least give BBB the secret handshake to get passage into the Centennial Tower, secure the code manuscript, and do our own PR campaign promoting the "Code." We can relate it to a story about a life-saving dog and a housefire.
PS - Just having a little fun, haters. I'm still waiting to see if I can get one of these Commemorative Tech Tenets coins on EBay. ;-)

Anybody had any luck solving this?
