Texas open carry sword law takes effect...
I'm not quite sure how I feel about this one. :icon_roll: Will more Islamic radicals try moving to Texas and ruling the streets?
Stabbing and slashing innocents as well as cars used for weapons is their latest hobby of choice and fun.

Re: Texas open carry sword law takes effect...
I have a Confederate officer's saber. It's not sharp right now because I trot it out in Living History events and kids love to handle it. So, it's as dull as Pelosi's brain. But, it takes a grinder well and can be sharpened up. When it did have a proper edge, you could slice a piece of floating paper with it. (and slice your thumb too...ahem)
The guy I bought it from claims it belonged to Colonel Jesse Williams, commander of the 2nd Louisiana Infantry Regiment. Williams Ave. in Natchitoches is named for the Williams family, who owned a plantation along Cane River. Whether it actually was Colonel Williams' sword or not is not important. It is authentic.

As Hannity would say, let not your heart be troubled. Any Islamic radical that tried to stab and slash innocents on a Texas street would be shot dead within minutes by a gun carrying citizen.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't the first. :D

My 38 is a lot better than a sword.
