Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
Our team is just that outmatched almost every night. Some of it is on the players and their abilities. A lot of this falls on Coach.

Glad we could get UTEP their 4th conference win. Anyone still wanna stick up for Konk?
Sure. UTEP shouldnt have been so close to us. But we were in position to win. Our players did not play well in the last 3 minutes with a five point lead. Konkol isnt the one out there letting them score, he doesnt have a universal controller. That charge on us was a bs call when their player had just pushed off on the other end to score. They got free throws off a weak call on a rebound. Then I think Christon(?) fell down as their player drove to the basket and scored. We took bad shots. We even got that dang jump ball for a final shot, and like FIU, we threw it away along with the game.
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
And I am not saying he isnt at fault for anything. But unless the players are executing and still losing, I can't lay it all on him either. And I don't think they were.
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
Our gameplan should be to jack up any open 3 we get. There isn’t anyone posted up, positioning themselves for a board every shot attempt.

Excuses, excuses.

No defense.
If nothing changes Konkol will be gone after next year.
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
This team finds the most incredible ways to lose games. Blew a 7-point lead with 3 minutes to play and threw away the inbounds pass on our final possession... again. We need a new inbounder. This time against maybe the worst UTEP team of all-time who was coming off a 50-point loss. Shameful.
M. Basketball. Bulldogs Struggle Down the Stretch, Fall to Miners
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
Louisiana Tech put itself in great position to grab a conference road win, but UTEP closed the game out on a 6-0 run and got a late tip-in to pull it out in a final score of 74-72 on Thursday night inside the Don Haskins Center.

Or get a contract extension.
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
How many last second losses this year for this group of losers?
Fortunately, for them, no one cares about MBB anyway.

Seriously, you have more faith than I do. He should be if we aren't better next year, and he can't recruit any players. I just don't believe that will be the outcome.
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
Horrendous loss
In excusable really
Totally on lack of effort
Re: M. Basketball. LA Tech Begins Three-Game Road Stand at UTEP
After a repeat season next year Konkol is gone. He can’t recruit any help down low which will once again be our glaring weakness along with an offense that passes the ball once & shoots a three.

I would demote him now and give King the job . We will have no one in the TAC next year if we do not make a change and we may have no players !

So, why do we have to wait a year to establish the obvious?
