Certain radio guys are already touting ULM's upcoming baseball season, knowing football season is lost and basketball is going to be light years behind Tech. So they are talking about ULM's "fabulous" baseball team and how they are going to play all their non-conference games in Monroe this season.
Some may remember how we use to play for the Pelican Cup, a 3 game series each year between us and ULM. Alternated each year with 2 games at one school and 1 game at the other. Gravy always loved to take to Coach Lou St Amant. Conference was important but beating ULM was a priority.
