I agree. We've finished in Top 3 for 4 straight seasons. MTSU is a good pick because of their tourney success, but come on man!
2014: T1 (1 seed)
2015: 1
2016: T3 (4 seed)
2017: 2
Tech Average Finish last 4 years 1.75
Battle 4 Atlantis
2018 - MTSU
2017 - WKU
2016 - ODU
2015 - Charlotte
2014 - UAB
2013 - UTEP
Re: 2018 Early season tourneys
This really ticks me off! :furious3:
Not only are we the only C-USA member to never have been selected as a host for a C-USA championship event in any sport, we've had the best, most consistent basketball program in the conference, but now we've been passed over for the SIXTH time in C-USA's preeminent hoops event.
Hello, T-Mac! Anybody home? Too busy lining up SWACtion and non-DIs?

This falls squarely on the shoulder of the AD...
Really shows his lack of stroke with the conference and other administrators
But the again "That's not who we are...."

WKU gets invited to join C-USA a year after everybody else and then finish 5th, 8th, and 8th in MBB. Yet they get to be C-USA's rep in Atlantis this year instead of Tech. Todd Stewart runs circles around T-Mac.
Re: 2018 Early season tourneys
look who coach is as well
Re: 2018 Early season tourneys
T-Mac has been spending all his time getting Tech XXII.
What's that? No Tech XXII?

I would say that the reason we are in the Cancun Classic is because of our coach's ties to George Mason...

It shows his YOUTH and inexperience. Too many people don't believe this, but it's true. These are the results you can expect when you hire a guy that young for a role as important as AD. Be sure and smile while you are suffering.
