I don't have a video for it, but one of my favorite plays was when Tech ULL started back playing in football a few years back. This was after Dooley's comments enraged the Cajuns, and ULL was supposedly fielding their best team in decades with Hud as their coach. We were in Laffy and in the first or second play, Dixon broke a 97 or more yard run from scrimmage to score TD. Dawgs never looked back and destroyed ULL on their own field. It was glorious to watch.

Those folks down in Lafayette needed a good reality check. They were getting a little carried away with themselves for a while there.
I sure do miss that 2014 team! - Cody Sokol, Kenneth Dixon, Houston Bates, Xavier Woods!

So was the pick 6 with 5 seconds left until halftime in this one (see the 2:05 mark of the video).

We had ~200 LA Tech football alumni standing at that endzone waiting to be recognized at halftime. They really enjoyed that UL-Laugh play! lol
Bless their hearts, they always have sooo much 'bad luck' when playing Louisiana Tech in football.

The video of Kenneth Dixon’s 99-yard run for a TD against ULL is in post #1.

I believe that was Skip's second year as HC. The year after Skip inherited next to nothing from Sonny and we had a very bad year. We were supposed to get destroyed in that game but ended up destroying ulll in front of all our recruits who were invited to the game at ulala by Hud.

One of my all-time favorite announcer quotes - "Say goodbye to Marcus Gaines!"

The speedy Tip in in the Nit game was magic. And the whole ULL game in 2014

The entire first half of the beat-down given to Georgia (at Georgia) in the NIT in 2014 the next game after the Iona victory. I think it was 39-13 a one point in the first half.
That was a very enjoyable Saturday morning!
