Dirtball Umpire

For those who were at the baseball doubleheader on Saturday... Remember Mr. "Dirtball" umpire who adamantly refused to clean off home plate to the point that home plate could no longer be seen?

I really try not to yell too much at the umpire's, but that was so PATHETIC that it was funny. I was worried that I was going to let a "dumbass" or "jerk" fly :laugh:

Thankfully JFord just came up Dirtbag!!

I couldn't figure out if Will (our catcher) finally cleaned the plate himself so it could be seen or if it was to keep the stands quiet so the ump wouldn't retaliate. Maybe both.

I do believe there was a "He's a moron!!!!!!!" in there somewhere also.

Yep, I thought BVDV was coming for JFord, but he just waved and kept going. :laugh:
You are probably right on both points ChipDog. Wish I could see an umpire's schedule to know when "Dirtbag" will be back in Ruston again.
