They awarded to UAB for the next 100 years, with a UAB option to renew for 100 more.

And allow them to pick whatever time they want to play.

We joke, but it better not be at UAB again next year. I still think UNT, Tech, and Rice could all go in together and push for Dallas.

UTSA should be included, and I could see UTEP desiring Dallas rather than having to travel all the way to Birmingham. I believe Dallas is a larger airport hub than Birmingham as well, so ODU, Marshall, and the Florida schools who fly may prefer it over Birmingham as well (Charlotte maybe too for that reason)

Good point! I forgot about UTSA for some reason.

Considering Birmingham's own epic fail admittance, a high school gym would be more suitable if the conference goes back to Birmingham.

There are literally thousands of UTSA and UTEP alumni here in the DFW metroplex, as well as UNT, LA Tech, Rice, and even USM.

Uab will tell you when and where the conference tournament is going to be when they want you to know so sit back and watch the spin coming.
Re: When will the CUSA tournament Site be announced?
I think it's odd that there has been no news on the next CUSA tournament site.

They don't feel the need to announce it any more. We all just show up and play in B'ham. All that is announced now are the dates.
Re: When will the CUSA tournament Site be announced?
An announcement is scheduled for May 25th. They will annouce where the tournament will be held for the next three years. It will either be El Paso or Birmingham.

The Frisco director of sports and event liked my tweet a few months ago when I mentioned where Frisco would be a great site. The tweet was from 2015 and he must of scowered twitter to see it.
