Before you ask or comment, here is a list of items we are working on in no particular order:
BBCode (Formatting) - We are adding more formatting options that you are used to from the previous site. Most of these will be button driven like the ones that are up there now. We will not be using the graphic (picture) type buttons. They don't look right on this site and take just a little time to load.
Jump to New Post - This one will take a little time. I've put in a request for this function but don't know how long it will take to develop. In the meantime, when you visit the forum, the little icon next to the topic with the arrow and orange box will take you to the start of the posts since your last visit to BB&B. Note, NOT since you last opened the thread!!!
Chat Feature - We have the mod to do this, but it isn't installed yet.
Navigation "Tree" - This should be able to be put in pretty easy, IF you want it. Play around a little and see if you want it. We'll poll everyone before we do it.
Profile Options - Birthdays, Gender, Real Name, etc. additions. We'll let you know when they are installed so you can update your profile.
Site Statistics - A little something extra that will tell you alot about the site usage.
Ignore User - Even better than before and easier to add people to it for flamers.
Bold if Posted - If you've posted to a topic, makes the topic title bold so you can easily see which ones you might have replies in.
Last 10 topics - You said you liked this before so we'll install a mod to do it. We haven't evaluated it yet, but it has gotten nice reviews.
Global Announcements - Lets the admins make announcements in all the forums through a single message.
Today/Yesterday - Uses that instead of the date for recent posts.
Custom Footers/Headers - will allow us to customize each forum (Basketball, Football, Baseball, etc.) to the topic which they address.
Other "behind the scenes" mods for additional security, admin features, functionality, etc.
