Re: Baseball. Bulldogs Look to Carry Momentum into Marshall Series
Marshall has no baseball facility. Are they building one? Do they have plans to build one? If not, then perhaps they should be told that they cannot play baseball in CUSA. After the game, the Marshall coach complimented Buroughs on the tenacity of his players. It wasn't easy to get to Beckly, WV. Even Marshall has a 110 mile bus ride to their own home games.

The C-USA rule is poorly written. It allows a hard time for a game to end, and that was 4:15 PM today in Houston. That allowed FAU to use several stall tactics before and during the bottom of the 9th to allow the playable time to expire.
Between half-innings the FAU coach came out to continue the discussion with the plate umpire about the run-scoring double that would have given FAU a 7-6 lead but was overturned to be a foul ball. The discussion was in the area of home plate, so the FAU pitcher couldn't start his warmup pitches. After the Rice leadoff batter doubled, the FAU pitching coach came out and wasted more time even though FAU had no one warming up in the bullpen. The FAU pitcher then faked a pickoff throw to second, and one of the infielders went to the mound to talk to the pitcher. Then FAU intentionally walked the batter. By the time the next batter got to the plate, the umpires left the field and teams starting shaking hands.
The C-USA travel curfew rule needs to be rewritten to make sure that once an inning starts, it must be played to completion.

I don't remember it being an issue in WAC games. Did we play more Thursday, Friday, Saturday series with them in Ruston?
We had to drive all the way to the Charlotte airport. Burroughs said a 4-hour drive.

When I recalled "Charlotte and 4 hours", I thought I had heard him wrong.
Why was it not a problem when WAC teams played in Ruston?
Re: Baseball. Bulldogs Look to Carry Momentum into Marshall Series
They are probably using the new direct flight to Shreveport/Charlotte

I saw a pro game end in a tie once when I lived in Japan. Pretty weird experience leaving a baseball game in a tie, but when most of the crowd arrived on public transportation, you have to cut things off somewhere I guess.
