Re: Iraq is slipping fast
We were told, by the demos and by salty, that there was NO al-queda in Iraq and therefore, NO connection to 9/11, and therefore, Bush was wrong for using that as his reason to invade.
Okay...let's take the demos and salty at their word, there were NO al-queda in Iraq at any time while Bush was in office...
well...

Hey rocket scientist, the question IS: Was bin Laden's al-qaeda operating in Iraq prior to our wrong and unnecessary invasion of that country. Absolutely no doubt that the answer is no. I agree that a terrorist group that calls itself al-qaede of mesopotamia came into existence after our invasion but that is a different group than bin Laden's outfit.
George junior is an idiot.
Re: Iraq is slipping fast
salty...you have joined the Libertarian Party now, you can stop trying to defend that obamanation goofus!
Bush won the war in both Afghan and Iraq, and now obama is losing it back. That's the truth. BHO is the worst prez since Carter, and worst than all but a few....well....maybe he is the worst of all time. He's close, anyway.
Iraq and Afghan is all obamanation now. Everything happening now, and that will happen, is all on barry.
.....may God help us.

Joe "Bite it" calls Iraq this admin's greatest foreign policy triumph. Really? All obamanation has done is allow US combat units to go to Kuwait.

We'll see what happens in Iraq going forward. If it goes well, obamanation will take full credit, if it don't, they'll blame Bush.
BTW, it's because of Bush Sr. that US troops have a safe-haven to go to in Kuwait. Libs were against the 1991 Gulf War too. But, wow! looks like Bush Sr. was right. The libs wrong....again.
Re: Iraq is slipping fast
obama claims "the end of the US combat role in Iraq," yet US forces are TODAY involved in COMBAT! in Iraq!

When Bush declared "mission accomplished" he was referring to the official end of Saddam's military to wage war. That was true. Bush should have said "one of our missions" or "the first mission" is accomplished. Technically, in military terms, Bush's phrasing was correct. "Missions" are specific goals or tasks, and wars are a series of missions.
But, of course, the lib media will give obama a free pass on his gaffe.

What do you expect from someone who's going to name a new operation after a Twilight book? And the US military is the bad guy...
