Ticket Price Mystery

I had a family member who was looking at different ticketing sites for an event and decided to look up Tech football for giggles. He asked me why tickets in section R were going for around $50 dollars when everywhere else in the stadium you could pick up tickets at $15-20? I had no clue R, is basically student side endzone. So I looked up a few sites and sure enough, Seat Geek, Vivid Seats, and Stub Hub all at least $50.

Anyone know the reason, people would be trying to sell tickets there for that much?

It is a reserved section they could purchase the same ticket through Tech's site for $23

Those tickets are probably offered by bots rather than actual people with tickets. If someone is crazy enough to order a $50 ticket from that site, the bot buys it from Tech for half that and flips it to them. Just my guess.

I got tickets yesterday with the alumni code for $12.50 each. That ended last night.

Maybe another discount will roll out today.

We have reserved seats in OO - had them for years (these are the seats with the cushions). Seat Nazis will get you if you try to sit there
