Good news: I landed a job!
Bad news: It's in Tigertown
I'm moving from Dallas to Baton Rouge next month. Is there anything I need to know about how to survive down there?

The traffic sucks. Avoid all roads. You might want a helicopter or if you can "beam" from place to place.

Screw Brunet's. He's got more Bear Bryant and Alabama stuff than anything else. Also, Austindawg and I didn't have a good experience there during the NCAA playoffs when we went to watch the Lady Techsters. We were assured they'd play it for us in the bar. We were the only ones there and they had it on for awhile until the bartender changed it to the Lady Tigers. We told them that we were told we could watch the Lady Techsters in the bar, and that's why we were there and because Brunet played for Tech. It didn't make a difference to them. We cancelled our orders after the appetizers, if I remember correctly and then left. I haven't been back since.
After Kentucky, it's nice to be back in the South (no offense Kentucky). Job hasn't really started yet, but I don't have any complaints. I was surprised that a bunch of the students here are from Atlanta. I guess this school (GCSU) is designated as the public liberal arts university in Georgia.
Bogie's,all day, everyday, every hour.
