They don't know what he stands for any more than he does. Like those who choose to burn flags, he enjoys controversey (stirring crap). That's all.
Raising awareness for mistreatment of black males by the POlice...no statistics back it up, but opinions of the mis-informed crap stirrers matter. BLM is a wing of hate. It's really simple.

He is the exact opposite of what I would want speaking for MY CAUSE if I was looking for someone to back those causes - he paints himself into a corner every single damn time cause he is clueless, everyone has a right to push for a cause regardless of what their cause may be - but be LEARNED in that cause before speaking
Obama? ;)

It doesn't help that Santa Clara is an hour from SF - and it's a Thursday night. But it is ridiculous for an NFL stadium to have empty seats (cough cough Chargers)

it's working. They are getting a response for their actions.......
Re: Kaepernick: Won't stand for 'oppressive' national anthem
I read that a rule of the NFL is that all players will stand for the National Anthem with their helmet in their left hand and their right hand over their heart. If they choose to not adhere to company policy, why aren't they fined a games paycheck? (In the old days a player earned a portion of their salary per game, and I assume that is still true.) That may get their attention. The fans pay their salary, and they are being disrespectful of the majority of paying customers. They and the league seem to be ignoring this.

The NFL is trying to figure out how to stop the response. I think they miscalculated how people would respond.

But to be fair, this was a weekday 5 pm kickoff between two sub par teams at a stadium that is nearly 1 hour away from downtown San Francisco in rush hour traffic.
