Trinity Rolling Again, No Pass Attempts, No Turnovers, No Punts

For those of you that follow Texas HS Football, Trinity held Richland High School to 45 total yards last week.

This week Trinity beat Irving 64-0. They only allowed 53 total yards. They never punted. Never attempted a pass, no fumbles. They were winning 50-0 at the half and were very nice continuing to run up the middle with 4th and 5th string RB's despite Irving stacking the box. A play action would have easily resulted in a TD but Coach Linweaver was nice to a winless opponent. Trinity is in a weak district this year. I hope this doesn't bite them in the rear come playoff time. Looks like the only tough team in the district is Colleyville Heritage.
