Offense was not sharp, but our defense was really tough last night. We hung tough after being down by 5 in the 3rd quarter, even when we were missing some open shots. We were stifling on defense, though. Great job, Techsters!

Defense wins championships! Or...games in Little Rock, at least.
Any win is a good win given the status of our WBB program.

UALR is 1-6 now.
We are now 2-2 vs D1 teams.
Re: Defenive Effort Leads @LATechWBB to Road Win
Lowest scoring WBB game of the year so far.

They have played a pretty tough schedule with LSU and #6 Texas A&M. They do have losses against FAU, WKU, and Rice, though. We would have beat them by 30 if our shots were falling. Some of that was their defense, but we missed a lot of easy shots. I can bet you that they end up pretty good and in the tournament, though.

This would have been tedious and frustrating to watch, testing the limits of even the most loyal fan. If it was truly exceptional, die-to-stop-them defense that kind of effort is some salvation.

I would say the 4th quarter was some of that type of defense. Our offense just couldn't get it going, though.

Mrs. Lincoln would have had a good time at the theater IF it hadn't been for that one thing!
