ESPN made a big deal....well, not a big deal, but it was mentioned, as were we. When you think how successful, how dominant UCONN has been for the past 15 years+ it's amazing it took this long for them to catch us. Goes to show just how successful Tech was....back in the day.
Well, right now, they only have us by ONE win. Geno will retire someday, and then their program might go downhill. With Brooke at the helm, maybe a few years from now, we can pass them back!!!

It is surprising that it took them this long. I have no doubt that they will fall from glory, once he retires, due to them being in the American Conference. If they had been able to move to the Big East with the others, they could probably keep it going. He is showing no signs of retiring, though. They may eclipse Tennessee at some point, as well.

I think Mississippi State might take their place. They are really investing in that program over there, as much as you can invest in WBB. Actual marketing campaigns! Before the season starts!

James Madison, Texas, Stanford, ODU and SFA (believe it or not) are all well positioned to pass LA Tech in the next few years, if the Ladies don't turn things around fast.
My question is, how has James Madison been playing women's BB for 95 years? That's a lot more than anyone else. Heck, even Tennessee has been playing for 63 years, 20 more seasons than LA Tech and UCONN.

I didn't even catch the number of years. 93???????? That seems unlikely, but I can see how they are so far up the list. Whom were they playing against?
