Some people are so twisted.

Why not insure they know exactly what they're doing?

Because it's a totally unnecessary expense. I imagine medical groups are pushing this just as much as the anti-abortion lobby.

Well worth it if it helps the woman make a better choice. What price do you put on life?

Next thing they will make you watch the video display when they remove a rectal polyp with the assistance of a scope. That way you can make a more informed decision about whether you really want to have it removed.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I was about to post something about requiring biopsies on all moles I choose to have removed, but this one was better.

Yeah, a mole is the same thing as a fetus. Pro-choice folks make themselves look incredibly stupid with those types of comments.
Re: Bill requiring Ultrasound prior to Abortion before SC House
It is usually a tough decision for a woman to decide to abort a fetus. I believe this measure would be more likely to cause psychological scarring for some people.

The psychological scarring is already there. They might as well take a good look at the decision they're making.

I find it odd that you two who are such proponents of getting all the facts to find the truth would be opposed to this. What's the fear? Why not make the mother see the fetus? What's the great tragedy in a woman changing her mind after seeing the ultrasound? Is this not forcing the patient to take an honest look prior to finalizing their decision?

What truth do you expect a pregnant woman to find in this that she doesn't already know? If anything, it is trying to encourage her to make a decision based on entirely on emotion.

I guess you wouldn't have a problem with forcing students to study the Koran, either?
