One thing that stood out from this article (to me) was how Jaylon says he "grew up" in LSU territory but he's "from" LaTech. He shows no affiliation whatsoever to LSU, and that's what we need from our students and student/athletes. Identify with your school!

Good article....but they did get the date wrong for the Southern game***.
*** The Tech Ticket Office called me yesterday, which I am sure is part of a general marketing campaign. The young fellow I spoke to said the office is being bombarded daily by Southern fans calling asking about tix. So, come on Tech faithful...don't wait and don't assume. Officially tix go on sale August 1st.
As for Jaylon, I expect to see something very special from him this year. Yes, he'll be double-teamed every play, but great players still get theirs. I expect to see something great from the D this year. We'll need it if we hope to win a conference championship, and do something more than just limp into a bowl game again.
I was in football Nirvana at the Frisco Bowl. Watching OUR defense absolutely kick azz! Not only did we have 3 pick-6's, but the D was responsible for 28 total points, and more importantly, held a previously high-powered SMU offense to a mere 10 points. That was awesome! I LOVE DEFENSE!!!

He will still be an NFL Draft 1st round selection, but I think this year Ferguson is going to see a lot of this
