She posted 8 or 10 of those videos from the 1970's & 1980's, including videos of punt returner Larry Anderson, WR's Tommy Spinks, Roger Carr, Eric Johnson, Pat Tilley and Rod Foppe, as well as QB's Terry Bradshaw and Keith Thibodeaux. This is awesome!!

I believe it was Karl Terrebonne who posted them initially when we were on Dawgbytes' original BB&B site. Karl got access to Tech's old game exchange videos and spent hours putting it together on YouTube.

Yes, Karl got access to the exchange .... in the dumpster behind Aillet Fieldhouse. He was walking by it back in the day and saw tons of trophies and game films being dumped by an idiot coaching staff. Smart move by Karl.

Was T-Mac doing it? He thinks everything in Tech history beyond the last 10 years or so doesn't count anyway.

A big thanks to all who contributed. I especially appreciate the titles. In a lot of the "yearly highlight" films on you tube I can't tell who we're playing. but enjoy anyway. I was not really familiar with those seventy's and early eighty's teams so those are great to watch.

On a different note, who was the defensive end who was a bit short but incredibly fast -- he blocked a bunch of punts while he was at Tech. Always loved the excitement of whether he'd get to the punt.

Way before the current time. You do understand “back in the day?” Terrebonne and I go way back.

I know it was "back in the day." My comment was a jab at our wondrous AD, not an actual question.;)

Wow! Very good video again. Thanks for posting. That Karl Terrebonne was a hell of a receiver back in the 1980's. I really enjoyed watching him. I also enjoyed watching the 1980's LA Tech DEFENSE in the last 3 or 4 min of that video. Really fun video to watch.

There are also some films in the Archives and Special Collections of Prescott Library. These materials were saved only after persistent requests for materials for preservation. Of course the Library is not in position to really make these available in modern formats, funding, but they are there in whatever format they were created in by athletics.

# 36? LB - John Paul Laque was one of my favorites. He was everywhere, including down field with leading blocks on interceptions.
