VERY impressive pitching again. Hitting, not so much.
Our "official" score keeper saved our starting pitcher an E1, but he cost him by scoring the error a hit. Our HC should change that score.
I also thought 6 innings was plenty for our starter. He did well in the 7th but other guys need work too.

For the fifth time in as many contests in 2018, the Louisiana Tech baseball team received a quality start en route to a 5-1 home-opening win over McNeese on Tuesday evening from J.C. Love Field in front of a crowd of 1,920.

Good win in front of what looked like a good crowd.
The most interesting thing to me was watching them create the score bug on CUSA.tv. All they did was crop a window of the live stats feed and overlay it at the very bottom of the video feed. They didn't have to update a single thing throughout the game, and it always showed all of the pertinent info in the box in real time. Simple but brilliant. There's no excuse for any other school's CUSA.tv production to not have a score bug when that's all they have to do.
