Yes, that would be enough although I don't see how we flat line by playing teams 100+ and two teams over 200. I think Warren Nolan may have taken a shortcut in the guessing game.
Re: C-USA Baseball Standings
I would take 14-4 the rest of the way. We need to make some noise in the tournament for sure...

Winning alone will not make our RPI go up from here to the tournament.
Nope we win the vast majority of our games heading into the tourney, I believe our RPI will be high 30's at worst
Keeping winning and the rpi will take care of itself...

We'll see
Re: C-USA Baseball Standings
Just can't afford any WTF loses...
Re: C-USA Baseball Standings
I noticed on rage page that the Cajuns are lamenting the fact that rpi is the over riding factor in the selection process...
And that the Sunbelt hasn't risen in RPI rank like they thought it would with the addition of Coastal
Re: C-USA Baseball Standings
As ol' Aubrey would say . . .. Just win!

Re: C-USA Baseball Standings
Beating #240 on the road got us a bump to #34. Go figure.

Road wins are worth 1.3 wins, and RPI rankings are relative. Look at what the rating does, not the ranking. Our ranking may have moved up to 34 relative to the teams around us, but what did the decimal rating do? That's what tells the story. Also, don't focus on the other team's RPI. It's their winning percentage that is most important to our RPI, not their RPI. There's a difference between how it affects our RPI vs. how it affects our resume.
Re: C-USA Baseball Standings
Our home loss to UAB counts as 1.3 losses in the RPI. Our RPI rating dropped from .5731 to .5656; RPI ranking dropped from #33 to #41.
It will take 2 home wins (0.7 + 0.7) to negate the 1.3 home loss to UAB. And that's just 25% of the formula. UAB hurts the middle 50% of the formula with their poor winning % but not nearly as much as the hit we will take next weekend with 3 home games vs. WKU, the worst team in C-USA.
Burroughs needs to get on the phone ASAP and add a couple Top 50 midweek road games.

There it is, the WTF loss
