Anyone noticed that Tech Athletics is removing posts on Facebook?

After every football game, Louisiana Tech Athletics posts the final score on Facebook. The same was done today, but after nearly 30 replies critical of Holtz, Tommy Boy and the program as a whole, the post was removed. This is totally bush league.

The powers-that-be will say there was an error in the post, and that is true. But, they could have edited the post or reposted. They did not do that. In fact, they took it a step further and removed individual replies in other posts.

All this athletic admistration is accomplishing is the alienation of its fan base.

Changes must be made soon.

Don’t criticize the admin they will erase you from history. I noticed as well and so did several others.

I dont mind if it gets out of hand. Singling out the QB on a public page is in poor taste. But Holtz is free game, if its just comments on him they should stay.

I sat on the 35 today, 4 rows up. I focused on our QB and how he reacted to his HORRIBLE passes. According to him EVERY bad pass he makes is because his receivers screwed up their routes. He is a cancer to this team and we have been diagnose with it for a bowl game and 12 games next year.

I have watched him all year react to bad plays, ignore coaches in the sideline etc. nothing is his fault and that is what he is told by Holtz

I don't recall any athletic department EVER doing this. The administration, the AD, and HC put the product on the field and now they are too sensitive to be able to take the criticism? They are just admitting defeat IMO.

But not to worry, the post with the half time score has 86 comments and counting and they are not complimentary.

They did the final and then removed it.

Removed them from Twitter too
