Burnett and Anderson do not really pontificate on such matters. They are really good at asking pointed questions and follow-ups. FoxNews is more interested in broadcasting their opinions.

She was one of the ones wondering why Obama didn't go to Wisconsin to help Barrett. She thought this comment by Paul Begalla was the best argument of the night:
"When Clinton was President, all the Republicans did was try to impeach him from day 1. Now they are acting like he is the best president of all time (since he disagrees with Obama on raising taxes)."
She really liked that and lol'd.

I saw it, but she didn't say it was the best argument of the night. She only asked questions. She did LOL at the response (and a few others), but he was making a funny point. Plus if she laughs at his jokes, it sets him up for the followup question. You gotta watch her method. She is good.

I think this summarizes their thoughts pretty well:
MSNBC: What in the world just happened? Can you believe those idiots voted for Walker again?!
CNN: Sure wish Obama would have helped Barrett out more.
Fox: This is probably the beginning of the end of public sector unions. It will embolden conservative governors.
I wish it was that easy. In reality what you get is two of them (CNN and MSNBC) giving the Democratic view, and Fox giving the Republican view. MSNBC is just CNN off their meds. NBC, CBS and ABC are also dem leaning news outlets, which is why Fox has such a huge following (the dems split their viewership).
"News" outlets having philosophical slants don't bother me nearly as much as "news" outlets with slants based on political party. And fair and balanced doesn't mean you get one clown from each side and have them talk over each other, it means someone is doing actual, real research and analysis and not being afraid to present facts (and whether you like it or not, the real "news" reporters on Fox do that).
Without a non-partisan, free press, this country is toast. If you want to know why our government sucks, you need look no further than the MSM and cable news outlets.

She said he won that round of debate with that comment.

I agree whole-heartedly. I remember Obama trying to discredit Fox in his first year and he wouldn't even give them interviews and made their correspondents sit in the back of the room at the press briefings. He wants ALL the media on board his ship and all but Fox are more than willing. It is their Constitutional responsibility to be the 4th branch of government and they just are not when a Democrat is in office.

The daytime hosts on CNN, which are supposed to be straight news programs, lean decidely left in their questioning of guests. You have picked two people out of the CNN lineup as if they are an accurate sample of the whole.

That is because I am not home to see the daytime lineup. I tune into Burnett and Cooper and change the channel when Piers comes on. He has to be the dumbest Brit I have ever seen.

I like John King, too. Wolf is starting to show his age.

Have you ever watched Bret Baier's program on Fox News? Personally, I think it's the best cable news show on television.
