Terrorism Around the World
So many years of the other thread, seems it should have a sister thread by now.
Al-shabab - an al-qaeda affiliated group - attacked a popular mall for locals, ex-pats, and diplomats during a busy weekend for the mall, especially with a children's event going on. People of several races, religions, nationalities, class, etc. are dead. Canada lost a diplomat. Kenya's President has lost "some" family members. Current siege of the mall going on as the assailants are hold up in a store with hostages.

I feel sorry for Kenya. One of the few bright spots in Africa, imo, and there always just something major happening to them ever so frequently. I am in admiration of their President's resilience in great personal and national tragedy; and for his handling of the situation.
Sectarian violence in Iraq continues. Bombings at a mosque, a funeral, and other places have left over 200 dead, many others wounded, all in just the last week. Nearly, if not over, 4500 for the year.

Church bombed in Pakistan. At least 75 dead.

Westgate siege still ongoing. Kenyan police and military mainly, with some international support, supposedly closing in on 5 -15 perpetrators who are in a room "behind bullet proof glass." Number dead has risen to 59. Confirmed dead have been Kenyan, South African, French, Ghanaian, Australian, Indian, Canadian, Chinese, British, Dutch, and American.

We need to chop the head off this radical, Islamic snake. And have you seen what has been happening in Iraq and Afghanistan with 5 years of Obama.
Re: Terrorism Around the World
Shootings at Canada's National War Memorial, Parliament, and a nearby mall.
One Guard of Honour shot at the memorial. Unknown condition. Didn't look good. Miniscule relief to know it's not an acquaintance.
Canada's Prime Minister was ushered away immediately.
Picture on twitter shows someone down in an entryway that is said to be the library entrance.

Video of a police sweep through one hallway shows shouting then you hear an explosion followed by several shots fired.

Nothing is really known about the gunman/men at this point. Possibly multiple shooters, but unknown yet. One gunmen killed (unconfirmed). As likely and unlikely as it could be, don't listen to idiot pundits that this is "definitely" an al-qaeda/isis attack. However, this is two days after someone the RCMP claim was "radicalized" killed two Canadian soldiers.

Live footage looks to show police think the gunman/men are on a roof the way they are aiming their weapons towards roofs as they escort people, one at a time, to an armored vehicle for evacuation.

Brussels latest "major" attack. These groups operating in cells need to stop being ignored and dismissed.

Belgian officials should have kept quiet about apprehending Abdeslam.

Yes they should.
Re: Terrorism Around the World
I'm mostly agree witht the talking heads its the "leaking" of Abdeslam talking and what he is saying that is the "cause" of this attack, not that they captured him. That isn't something Belgium could keep quiet.
Re: Terrorism Around the World
This makes you seriously question the resolve of Europe's commitment to a War on Terror. Twice in France and now in Belgium and they are still letting Muslims immigrate unfettered into their countries.

Re: Terrorism Around the World
Today moooslims attacked a Christian Easter service in Pakistan. Early reports say 60 dead, hundreds more injured. Both numbers are likely to go up. A peaceful, religious service, people minding their own business....now murder victims. Yet....you can hear crickets from the leftist, lame-stream media, even more silence from the US administration, although one would expect obummer to utter some obligatory statement condemning the violence, some time later today, or tomorrow.
If this had been Christians attacking some mooslim service, it would be breaking news. CBS would even interrupt coverage of the Dance to denounce these evil Christian-types. Then make a call to ban guns in America!
Why have the leftists allied with evil, mooslim terrorists? Is it because obummer is a moolsim, and this is just a show of solidarity from the left with their fearless leader? Maybe some libtard can explain the attraction of mooslim murderers to the left? Woofy, maverick, Jubru....
It might be simply because "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." obummer and his libtard ilk see Christians, good, law-abiding Americans as a bigger threat, and thus the mooslim terrorists are carrying out their plans to eliminate this "threat." So, libtards support those that murder Christians.

As usual, you're barking at the wrong tree with me. But I can understand the misplaced stupid.
Re: Terrorism Around the World
We're in a world war with the barbaric religion of Islam. Even liberals will one day get their fill of Islamic terrorism. That's when we'll go about eradicating those barbarians.
