Depends on if the hardwood floor check went through. . . .

Paul Millsap

This doesn't necessarily mean Millsap is leaving Atlanta -- he said in April that he wants to be back with the Hawks, and he is likely to command a max contract, which is more than the $21.4 million he would have made with this option. Expect him to be one of the hottest free agents on the market this summer.
Re: #LaTechLegends Basketball
I hope he leaves Atlanta, and wouldn't mind seeing him play for the Jazz again, or maybe the Wizards.

I agree. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. He has earned a chance to play for a team that won't get swept in the first round of the playoffs. A simple glance at the stat lines will tell you those failures are not Pauls...
Re: #LaTechLegends Basketball
McCree is shooting up draft boards. I still don't have much hope but he's doing everything he needs to and is making noise. Of particular note is the fact that he's got a bunch of team workouts scheduled for right before the draft.

McCree seems to take pride in taking the path less-traveled, including his own little mid-major school. He thinks people should take notice of the top mid-major players because, “If you have game, you have game.”
Some pretty bad takes in that article (and typos) but it gets the point across.

How can anybody not HATE that term? It has never been anything other than derogatory. This writer added an extra derogatory adjective to the already derogatory term. Journalism is a lost art.
Re: #LaTechLegends Basketball
Regardless, Erik McCree will be drafted. His game translates well into the NBA. He is a gifted scorer, runs well, and a formidable rebounder. Stapleton would have given himself a better chance had he stayed too...

Remains to be seen. I think he has a better shot than any Dawg has had in years, but there is the perception working against him. Plus there's just not that many spots.
I think Speedy would have had a good shot had he not hurt his ankle at the worst possible time. He was slowly making his way up the boards before that.

The fact that he's caught so much momentum in these camps means there's fire to the smoke.

Speedy was a two dimensional player - defense and assists
McCree has all the tools plus the size to go with it
Re: #LaTechLegends Basketball
I still think Alex Hamilton will eventually make it.

He's doing well. I think Kyser did better on his new team this year as well. Next season should be fun in the G-league (plus if they continue the same deal, all the games are free on Youtube).
