It’s pretty safe to say that Mr. Higgins will be leading our offense…
What’s the chance of him having a stellar year like Mr. Cameron did in 2012,
or What happens should Mr. Higgins has an unfortunate accident, gets injured and unable to play for a Quarter, Game, or for the Season?
Do we really have someone ready to fill in?
Our OL seems to look good and have some depth, definitely something we have not been able to say for a few years! This should help out whom ever is in the QB position and in the RB spot…
Speaking of RB’s, between Craft, Scott, and Dancy, it’s hard who might edge out each other for the lead man, but fresh leg’s should prove to be valuable for the Bulldogs this year!
The Bulldogs receiving core will be lead by inside receiver Mr. Taylor and deep threat Mr. Henderson…
Since I mentioned 2012 earlier, Could Taylor be the General Patton of 2016 for the Bulldogs?
Should we have the QB that can deliver, our receiving core should be pretty solid, with a young bunch of talented men ready to sept-up … not to mention a transfer in the mix!
Our Defense, some are saying will be our strength this year…
Possibly led by one Mr. Ferguson
The guy is a “BEAST”!
Add in a couple of Sr. Line Backer transfers
I am not quite sure who will replace Barnes and Dora in the Secondary, but thinking the talent is there!
I read where some Arkansas beat writer gave LaTech Special Teams the edge over Ark. In the Sept 3rd game, he must know something I don’t know?
I am so ready for some FOOTBALL, and would love to know what you all think our strengths are, as well as our weaknesses for the up-coming YEAR!

Besides the kicker and punter situation, I do not believe our special teams will be a strength on either receiving or stopping during kickoffs and punting. Not unless they prove we won't always be liable to big returns/touchdowns as we have been for the past few years!

I agree, while I'm hopeful on Higgins, I wish Holtz would have put one of the younger QBs first.

The main beat writer for the Demozette is a Tech alum, Tom Murphy.

I think Higgins will be fine, two years of growth. My biggest concern was the LB position but that was answered with the two LB transfers. We will be ok

Agree. He also has a better line in front of him and better receivers to throw to now. He just needs to avoid forcing the ball into coverage that he is prone to do.
Those LBs are good against the run, but not so good against the pass. I think we may struggle in pass defense this year, but should be strong against the run. Hopefully we will blitz a lot (like 2014) to help out the young corners.

It hit me all of a sudden this past weekend. I am ready for football season. Can't wait. Don't really know what to expect though.

Brice will be hard to replace at safety, who will fill in for him? Who are the corners that should see playing time?
