Nope. While Troy Edwards was certainly magnificent, you can't change the fact that he only touched the ball 10 or 12 times a game (sometimes less), so his impact was minimal compared to Tim Rattay....

Your last sentence is the most correct one. The NFL plays 16 regular season games a year, plus playoffs. And, injuries happen every single week in the NFL. So, Amik will get his chance at some point....
