I know you've heard the stories of some VERY young players who got Tommy John as a enhancing tool, not a injury repair.
I believe Sutton is an prime example of what Tommy John might do to actually make a pitcher better. I hope it works out as well for Shaffer.
Great! Sounds like we have an extra mid week reliever if we need him...or another Jericho Jones.;)
Thanks. Great info. 2 years or 1 year remaining?
I agree.Never seen his arm really tested, but our former SS didn't have the greatest arm either. Washam is actually listed at SS/2nd on the roster.
Those guys are in the business I suppose, so being first to say means more to them.
Deitrich is "old school" in this area IMO. Instead of confirming and reporting news he already had regarding...
Yeah, I heard him say that. I'm sure they had an "agreement" but is was not a contract approved by the UL Board. As somebody reminded us the other day, and you probably recall that we had the same...
it isn't here for baseball.
If somebody wrote that they were wrong. Goff did not have a contract with ELLAYE Tech.
We didn't have a contract for Goff.
Dodd left
For some strange reason the undrafted Hall signed a free agent contract last week. He had one year left.
Many of us have been puzzled by his decision to remain (If true ;))
- Get stuck in the SEC as a "pitching coach" and not a "coach".
- Is it possible that he wants a different situation than...
More guessing by Isabella and tweeting as the truth?
Oz was saying he would stay in Ruston as late as this morning even if as PC
yes very soon
He said he would conduct a national search. Any reason NOT to believe him?
You put this in Basketball.;)
Interesting whose name is at the top. Not in alphabetical order so one might assume Isabella knows something.
I know you didn't believe our AD when he said the BS about a national search.
I assure you money will not be squandered on a search firm.
Maybe he should get a look, but a hot topic? Not likely. He is only 28.
He got a huge raise.
...but if we hire a guy from lsu the lsu fans might like us and we can be lsu fans too...by proxy.
Oz would be great as an HC. He has proven he can coach to win. He is desired for much more than maintaining team chemistry.
Has Andy Cannizaro ever been a HC. Just being a coach at lsu is not a...
More as HC at Tech in salary alone, but also much more in perks.
He is in his early 40s. I'd think a HC spot here would be much more attractive than a PC spot at a lower tier SEC school
Just my personal choice. I'd rather have a guy with HC experience and a guy all the players already know.
I'll take responsibility for putting it here.
I was told Wells would be gone to Miss. St. if Goff was hired. That was not the case. Not sure he will stick around much longer though.
