All good potential reasons. In a fantasy world, if someone was to walk up to me with $1,000 to place a bet on what would happen, I would bet the SEC play :D
Well, it is a broad statment at face value
NSU was in bad shape. JP Davis was the pitching coach under Mitch Gaspard for years. Great pitching coach. As a head coach, wasn't liked by players, unsocial, poor recruiting, and in over his head....
Would be great! But, I can't fathom a world where someone chooses to be a Pitching Coach at Tech vs. a Pitching Coach at an SEC school. Salary-wise and exposure-wise.
If Ostrander doesn't get the HC job, he's going to Bama. Goff has quotes saying he wants Ostrander to land the Tech job, but if he doesn't he'll be the Bama pitching coach.
Agree with that. Half the SEC has spent at least some time at NSU. And he did inherit JP Davis' coaching mess down there.
I really hope we're not gunning for Justin Hill too hard. He's the polar opposite of Goff. Much more pretty boy businessman, than energetic dirtbag
Kinda surprised Blake Dean isn't a hotter topic. Knows Louisiana and would be popular with this generation of recruits. High energy coach like Goff. Quick turnaround at UNO.
