Tech likely won't be in the group of 4 NIT 1-4 seeds to get an opening round bye and then the possibility to host a first round game. A 5-6 seed is more likely for Tech, and that's an opening round...
And the MWC got all of 2 bids...the committee saw through their powder-puff schedules. And that was still one bid too many.
