I knew it would harm a lot of people. It was also supposed to make filing simpler - no Schedule A - but now we have Schedule 1.
But they increased the standard deduction to about offset it. I know this won't help if you have been intemizing.
I was just addressing the auto/pedestrian issue. If it was the sdudents in LSU gear, go ahead and run over them.
It's according to where you were on campus. When I was there 50 years ago pedestrians had the right of way all over campus except Tech Drive and RR Avenue (there was almost no need cross RR Avenue...
Not quite as bad as golf on TV but next thing. Our secretary years ago was an avid tennis player/fan and watched the Majors on TV. My partner told her it was like watching paint dry.
That's right. We have another forum for that. We all know that politics can always tick somebody off.
It's been like that for quite a while here in the Houston area. We have just gotten used to it and already adjusted.
Since you know this why not arrive 20 minutes later? You can use this if you're running late.
Trying to visualize that. One big roundabout over I-20 or one on either side?
The first time I drove to Mexico City (1973) they had traffic circles on the Avenue De Reforma (4 or 5 lines each direction, maybe 6) and the traffic circles had no lane markings. You really took...
Roundabouts are coming back? Anyone remember the old McArthur Circle in Alex?
Now who has the right of way? It used to be the person in the circle, but maybe has changed to those entering. This...
Electronic devices (DVD Blue ray etc) that don't have the power inverter built in but instead provide the bulky "charger" like apparatus that takes up room on your plug or power strip.
Don't they have regular grocery stores in Ruston? Walmart Supercenters consistently rank low on where to buy groceries.
Or people who zoom up behind you in the left lane and when you pull over to let them pass slow down to match your spped.
My car says it comes on when 25% low which is about 8 psi.
And they replace them every time you get new tires.
Doesn't make sense on freeways though. Every six months or so some dumb ass tries to walk across one of our freeways and doesn't make it. It got so bad at one particular place on the West Belt that...
That never gets you anywhere although it is probably true.
My peeve is when supposedly a young technically savvy (engineer) young person scans and emails me a pdf of a signed document and when I get it it is landscape with the top at one side and too small...
Thanks, CH. I Didn't know that.
Aggie alumni (or not) belong to Former Students' Association. At least our name indicates that members have graduated from Tech while "exes" and "former students" just mean members attended.
I guess if you're dead you are a former alumni.
Excellent post. Good work.
Unless they have people like the one at Home Depot who, when asked why they didn't have an item, responded "We don't sell that any more. We couldn't keep it in stock!"
