i'd say hurdles are a fair comparison. so are varying distances. the four strokes in swimming are so different that an individual medly is almost comparable to the decathlon. but there are plenty...

that's just because just about anyone can be a golfer. it takes more athletic ability just to complete a 100 meter swim than it does to win the masters.
